Do you get your probiotics every day? Do you even know what probiotics are?
Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for your health, especially your digestive system. We usually think of bacteria as something that causes diseases. But your body is full of bacteria, both good and bad. Probiotics are often called “good” or “helpful” bacteria because they help keep your gut healthy.
Probiotics are naturally found in your body. You can also find them in some foods like yogurt and sauerkraut and supplements available in the natural sections at the grocery stores, make sure to ask for help if you don’t know what you are looking for. I usually prefer to get my probiotics from Kombucha. A drink that is readily available at all of our local grocery stores and very easy to make on your own. Keep your gut happy and get your probiotics in every day!
